ISO/UNDP PAS 53002:2024, Guidelines for contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) have launched a publicly available specification, which will make it easier for small and large companies to work strategically, tactically and operationally with their contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The specification is based on the common harmonized structure (HS), which is characteristic of all ISO management system standards, and can of course be used both on its own and as an integrated part of one or more existing management systems.
The specification also provides insight into the upcoming management system standard, ISO/UNDP 53001 Management System Standard for SDGs. It will therefore not be a waste of time to begin the initial work on ‘SDGs from a management perspective’ at this point.
